  1. first off this has nothing to do with the post.
second, i just wanted to recognize you guys for what you are doing, which is putting out quality music and helping cement the legacy of my city.

i honestly can say that i had no idea wrightrax would be where they are now. i knew you guys were good but, i didn't think you were that good. i remember the day college dropout dropped and in english class deuce said something to the effect of if you think kanye's samples are dope you should hear mine. i remember thinking this southfield nigga is crazy. who knew you would get signed to kanye's label a few years later. but i will say that you guys had a grind like no other. sittin is forbidden must have been a mantra for your work ethic too.

speaking of, i remember getting sittin is forbidden. i forget which volume, but i remember it was after i heard the black and blue album sampler. the flip on that EW&F song was sick.

lastly i wanna say keep doing what you doing and then do it bigger and better. it's so much hate going on out there especially in our city and i figure you should give love whenever possible. they say if you can make it in new york you can make it anywhere. i say, if you can make out of detroit, aka crabs in bucketville, you can make it anywhere. i'm sure dilla and em would echo the same thought.

my 16 year old baby brother is into making beats now. and i honestly have to say that he is dope. i would even say, no disrespect, he is colder than wrightrax was in the sf-lathrup high days. i let life and the naysayers get in the way of me chasing my dreams and i don't want the same to happen to him. i'm heavily into music but its only so much i can tell him. i would def appreciate any advice you would give me that could help him out. definitely not looking for a hand out because handouts hinder the road to greatness imo. just need some pointers to help with his grind. if you got the time to jot a few back thank you in advance. if not, i understand, the game is to be sold not told. no love lost, i'm still a supporter.
